User reviews
The series has its charms, but also some flaws. The female lead’s growth arc feels rather vague, while the child character steals the spotlight with undeniable cuteness. The male lead doesn’t leave much of an impression, and overall the storyline is quite average. On the bright side, the cast has great looks, the styling and costumes are well done, and even the emperor character comes across as adorable. Although it seems to be set up as a strong-female narrative, much of the plot still relies heavily on the emperor. In short, it’s visually appealing, but narratively easy to overlook.
